Two waves of research to evaluate the impact of EDF Energy’s sustainability and STEM education programme.

The Pod has over 17,500 registered schools, more than half of all UK schools. Our research has helped EDF Energy understand the impact the Pod has on:

• The teaching of sustainability and STEM subjects
• Knowledge, understanding of, and attitudes towards, low carbon energy, STEM careers and sustainable lifestyles among young people
• Perceptions of EDF Energy.

Our evaluation included quantitative and qualitative research elements and involved active and lapsed users of the Pod. Our evaluation also highlighted how the Pod can be developed further to be of even greater value to schools.
